How can we support local farms?
**How about a restaurant specializing in locally grown meat, vegetables, and grains. This is becoming very popular in the local food movement.
**Show community support with Right to Farm Law.
Local Farm Info:
Local farmers, Mike & Gail Thorpe, are accepting CSA memberships for their organic farm next season. They are just a few miles south of Alden on Rt 78. Call them at 655-4488. If you don't know how it works, you pay a membership fee, and are guaranteed a percentage of the crops.
